Slow Cooker Lemon Garlic Chicken

Seasoned and browned chicken breasts slow cooked with lemon juice, garlic, and chicken bouillon. This wonderful "fix and forget" recipe is sure to please the entire family and is easy to make. Rice and pasta make great sides for this dish but it is also great by itself.



  • 1. In a bowl, mix oregano, salt, and pepper. Rub mixture onto chicken. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Brown chicken in butter for 3-5 minutes on each side and place into slow cooker.
  • 2. In the same skillet, mix water, lemon juice, garlic, and bouillon. Bring mixture to a boil then pour over chicken in the slow cooker.
  • 3. Cover, cook on high for 3 hours or on low for 6 hours. Add parsley to the slow cooker 15-30 minutes before the end of the cook time.
